What’s the best rotation?

With the Wrath side of eclipse being buffed again by Blizzard to pull it closer to the SF side, both sides of Eclipse are now viable. For reference Solar is the Wrath proc and Lunar is the Starfire proc.

Solar: MF/IS/SF until proc, then Wrath through the proc and Wrath during and through the cooldown.

Lunar: IS/MF/Wrath until proc, then Starfire through the proc and Starfire during through the cooldown.

Solar favors the Wrath Idol, and Lunar the Starfire idol (IS idol to be tested still). One thing to note is that if your dots fall off during eclipse and there’s more than 7 seconds left on your eclipse, then reapplying 1 dot during Eclipse is better for your dps. If you proc Solar then reapply IS and Lunar reapplies MF. Reapplying both dots will be a dps loss. For the cooldown, both dots should be up and ticking.

NOTE: During Heroism/Bloodlust, MF/SF spam is the only viable option as you hit horrible GCD walls with Wrath during Heroism/Lust.
