What’s the best dps spec?

The best spec will depend on your makeup in terms of what regen talents to take. However, this is a foundation I recommend starting with and tweaking to your needs from there: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#0xG0uiIscdIVhouZbxcdb
This gives you decent amount of regen while taking all the neccessary dps talents. If your raid makeup has a lot of replenishment specs then you can move points out of Intensity and Moonglow (the latter must be moved to Imp MF so you can get down the tree) for points elsewhere in the tree. Keep in mind that Owlkin Frenzy was changed so that it only procs off melee and ranged physical attacks. However, with throns’ new scaling in 3.1, brambles becomes a very legitimate option for extra talent points. Starfall’s reduced cooldown makes it useable more than once on a boss and it’s a good little boost to dps due to it’s fire and forget mechanic.

Some math was done that showed the true dps increase of Imp MF. With the results of that math being apparant, I have removed those two points from Imp MF, and have made them completely optional to the player.
