World of Warcraft Eye of the Storm

Eye of the Storm is an exciting new Battleground located in the Outland zone of Netherstorm that combines capture-and-hold style gameplay with capture-the-flag. The game pits up to 15 high-level Alliance members against 15 Horde counterparts in a battle over two floating land masses. These aerial islands are connected by three bridges. Additionally, four towers overlook the battlefield and serve as focal points for the skirmish, while a single, capturable flag spawns in the center of the map for the teams to fight over.

General Information
Horde and Alliance teams of up to 15 players compete to control the four towers spread throughout Eye of the Storm and capture flags.
Each claimed tower generates victory points for the controlling team. The more towers your team owns, the faster your team gains points.
The first team that gains 2,000 victory points wins the match.
Players also earn points for their faction by capturing and returning a flag, located in the middle of the map, to a tower controlled by their faction.
Both the winning and losing team earn honor after completing an Eye of the Storm Battleground, as accumulated victory points translate directly into bonus honor for players. Even if you don't win the Battleground, you earn honor from earned victory points.
As players compete, they will earn Eye of the Storm marks of honor, which are used as a portion of the purchase price for various honor rewards.
Unlike other battlegrounds, The Eye of the Storm does not have an actual entrance portal connecting it to the outside world. The only way to enter this battleground is to speak with an Eye of the Storm Battlemaster in one of the major cities.

Controlling the Four Towers

Controlling one tower begins a slow trickle of victory points to your side. Seizing additional towers increases the flow of points.
The four towers in Eye of the Storm are easily distinguishable by their design. They include a Human tower, Draenei ruins, Fel Reaver ruins, and a Blood Elf tower.
Capturing each tower requires a team to simply occupy and control the area around the tower. There's no need to click on any specific node or object in order to begin the capture process.
The greater the advantage your team holds in the immediate area of a tower, the faster a tower is captured (up to a maximum of a 5 player advantage).
If you already own a tower, the opposing team can still swoop in and steal it by clearing the area of resistance and occupying it. But with four towers in total, controlling all of them can be a great challenge.
