Can I bring a raid group into an instance?

Every instance has a maximum number of players that can enter it at one time; some allowing full raid groups and some limiting you to 5 man parties. If you are in a raid group, no enemies will drop quest related items and you will not get credit for killing enemies within the instance for a quest. The exceptions to this rule are raid quests which are designed to be done by over five characters at once.
